On our way to Eataly this morning we get a peek in the stage door of Teatro dell'Opera
After filling our shopping bag with goodies we cross the road to Dagnino for coffee.
The window displays here are so colourful.
Back to the apartment to prepare a 'leftovers lunch'. We use the last of the home grown vegetables to make more ratatouille, slice up the chicken and make bruschetta with day old bread.
The bruschetta grill has been one of the best buys of the trip!
We spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool at the OS Club
You would not believe that you are literally only a few minutes away from the Colosseum here.
Aperitivo tonight is at Tree Bar on Via Flaminia. The tram ride takes us past a wonderful apartment that we shared with family and friends back in 2008.
Tree Bar is a lovely spot and extremely popular. Perfect for people watching.
Back to La Carbonara for dinner. Nothing startling here - just Roman classics cooked well. The wine from Le Marche, recommended by the waiter, is one of the nicest we have had so far on the trip.
